Criminal Justice Associate Degrees
Criminal justice associate degrees are generally 2-year programs that prepare students for entry-level jobs in criminal justice. With this degree, you can work in law enforcement, the court system, corrections or private security. Depending on your schedule, you can sometimes complete an associate's degree in less than two years at many of the schools below. Some students can even apply previous criminal justice or military experience toward school credit.
An associate degree in criminal justice is a very popular degree in the U.S. because many law enforcement agencies now require some college credit to be considered for employment. In fact, many law enforcement agents now hold an associate's or bachelor's degree.
When you graduate with a criminal justice associate degree, you may be able to find an entry-level criminal justice job. On the other hand, you may decide to transition into a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and increase your knowledge before looking for a job.
