Our partner schools offer online graduate level information security degrees designed primarily for the working information security professional. These programs are also available to recent graduates of information systems security and related bachelor degree programs. The master's level courses will build on the information security education and experience you have already gained. The programs are designed around a professional development concept while also providing a top quality education. Advanced courses build on the knowledge acquired by students in their undergraduate coursework as well as on the job experience. Advanced courses in network and operating systems security, advanced Unix programming, systems administration, incident response and related courses. An important aspect of our partner school programs is the focus on developing leaders. The master's programs teach management skills, such as security policy development and implementation, risk assessment and implementation of security procedures.

Our partner school, Capella University, offers a Master of Science in Information Technology with a specialization in Information Security. This program focuses on security policy development and implementation as well as the implementation and design of secure information systems. Capella University modeled their curriculum off the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP®) certification design. Cappella University offers the most relevant and current courses of study that will prepare students for careers in consulting, information security management and related positions. The quality of education students receive in the Capella University MS in IT Information Security program is evidenced by their designation as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education (CAEIAE). This designation is given by the National Security Agency and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to only the most qualified information security programs in the country.
